In this novel the author explores diverse topics such as childhood, imagination, our production-obsessed society, capitalism and a reflection on time.

  • What does it mean to live, to save time?

  • We live in an over pragmatic (utilitarian) society. If it doesn't have a productive end, it shouldn't exist.

  • In general is a beautiful criticism to the way in which we relate to the consumption of things, and friends.

  • It reminds me of byung-chul's "The Burnout society" imbedded in a enjoyable story.
