In this book the author explains in broad and pragmatic terms the positive psychology movement. He proposes well-being as an economic metric for political success with his model PERMA. He invites the reader to question the end goal of wealth growth, as well as giving individual an actionable practices for a better life.
PERMA: Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment.
There's a direct correlation between having a clear Ikigai (purpose) and a general well-being.
